Being the second eldest person at the gig I was glad of the offer to use the first floor area as I have difficulties, the Albert Hall were first class in looking after people 10/10 to them
The band came on stage and flew right into the action, they started with the title of their new album DARE and just continued at an energetic pace I hadn't seen since the old Punk days in the 70's.
I certainly think Ther Hunna have a bright future given the enjoyment of the young people in the 'mosh pit' dancing away to every song - an interesting aray of red and white light for the ballad-esq 'Babe Can I Call' which I assume had something to do with lead singer and guitarist Ryan Potter being dressed in all red with white T - whatever floats lol
The music is not for the faint hearted, it is a really 'in your face' driven beat with fast furious lyrics and a pace that is breathtaking and relentless.. The kids loved it, they responded to Ryan with cheers and bounced through-out the gig..
How was it for an older guy like me? Of course I loved it - Music is what it is and it's always great to see a young band on the up at the early stages of the big time... 16/20
It was bloody incredible. Despite Night Riots and Coasts’ sets being ruined by a bunch of drunks initiating mosh pits by the minute, The Hunna’s energy is insane. Also a surprise and a delight to see such a variety of age ranging from 14 year olds to 40 year olds who knew every word of every song - a truly unique and contagious atmosphere the entire night. Still buzzing
Monday 23rd january, last night was the hunna birmingham i was absolutely pumped when i saw that the hunna was coming to birmingham and so close to where i live. I didn't think much to kovic i loved hight tide and when the hunna came on it was fucking insane as i was in the pit all the mosh pits made it so much more mad!!!!!! Would 100% go to a gig of theres again!!
Seen The Hunna 4 times and will be a 5th on Tuesday. The atmosphere and the mosh pits at concerts are incredible. One of my favourite bands, vocals and instruments sound amazing live. 100 is one of my favourite albums of all time. also have met them 3 times and are very lovely guys. Highly recommend to anyone but especially indie/rock lovers.
Absolutely awesome! The atmosphere was great and my friend and I loved every moment. The support act 'Airwaves' were also so good!!!! I really recommended them. Before the show the band members were just walking around saying 'hi' to everyone, such genuine nice guys :)
The Hunna did not disappoint. They had a great presence and put on an amazing concert. They also know how to include the audience in their shows. All I can say is I had an incredible time and now my neck hurts from all the headbanging but it was so worth it. ROCK ON!
Very average show. No stage presence new album poor. If you like this style go to the Coasts - same management company - or Eliza and the Bear. I walked out. Clearly a strong hard core fan base but they are off my play list. Weak front man - zero charisma
Absolutley incredible, atmosphere was just stunning, crowd was loving every minute of it, even had everyone jumping to the support bands that were also great. Some great mosh pits and the music was great but the crowd was the highlight for me
amazing, second time seeing them will definitely be back for more (hopefully at Reading!)
The set was awesome with all the best songs plus two of the newer ones and great lights+lasers. Crowd was amazing tons of moshing if you like that!
Best show ever!! The Hunnas were amazing, they came outside and met and took pictures with everyone. Unbelievability good music, everything was AMAZING. Definitely worth seeing, in fact I'm seeing them again in January!!!
