4:30 - 9, solo on the Cove Stage
Mike Maimone is a piano-playing singer-songwriter and producer whose music and life story are defined by resilience, passion, and authenticity. Jenn White of NPR said, "Maimone plays the blues, but with a swampy New Orleans-influenced sound reminiscent of Dr. John or Leon Russell." He's averaged over 100 tour dates/year since 2006 as a solo artist, with his trio Mutts, and as a session keyboardist, performing on late night shows, at major festivals, and storied music venues. In 2023 Maimone played keys with Stevie Wonder to pay tribute to his late husband, Howard Bragman. He's since produced an album and written an accompanying book about love, loss, and healing, released in February 2026. Los Angeles Magazine said, "Together, the album and memoir form a single work—an exploration of love’s endurance and an invitation to remain open to connection and possibility."
