Been a fan of Haken since couple years ago, back when I was still in Indonesia, seeing the band live was a great addition to life experience. Kudos to O2 Academy, such a nice and intimate venue.
The gig was, unsurprisingly, pretty neat and flawless, especially Raymond behind the kits. Ross's top notch performance was another highlight, with a warm and cordial interaction with the crowd, such a loveable persona.
The only thing that kept bugging me during the show was the (un)clarity of the guitars' sound. I could barely hear the Richard and Charles soloing, which was an obvious shame to miss. But after all, enjoyed every other bit of the action.
Maschine brought a great performance too, but unfortunately the man behind the drumkits seemed to be a bit struggling with the (setting of the) kits, missed couples of the beat. Leprous were all out too, performed well. Just their avant garde-ness is not my cup of tea.
Looking forward to enjoying the next repertiore of progressive-esque music!
