Hana Stretton und Helena Deland

I saw Helena Deland on Monday, November 6th 2023, at Cafe Du Nord in San Francisco. Although she was clearly nervous and made two bloopers while she was playing her set, her songs were exceptional in their blending of melodies and harmonies. In my opinion she is one of the top five singer-songwriters on the decade. Her supporting band enriched the sound and made each song unique and memorable. She was also very approachable and kind at the merch table and took time to sign each of my shirts and vinyls that I purchased. If you get a chance to see her play live, I highly recommend it. It was a very unique experience and I hope to see her again on her next tour.
