Olivia Rodrigo

I saw Olivia Rodrigo on August 2nd, at Chase Center in San Francisco, California for her GUTS tour.

Sadly Pinkpanthress, who was supposed to open for her fell ill and had to cancel but Olivia more than made up for it.

Olivia deserves her spot on the top of American Pop stardom giving a one hour and 45 minute concert where she was clearly giving it her all, vocally, theatrically and with the choreography.

It amazes me that this barely 21 year old oozes this much talent, and while I know she has had some help with some fantastic producers/songwriters like Dan Nigro, that definitely did not detract from the raw talent and energy on display. I have no doubt that in 10 years she will be as famous and celebrated as Taylor Swift.

There is something indescribable about being in an arena with 10+ fans screaming every lyric to every single song in her repertoire. I do believe she sang every single song from her two albums.

Despite paying extortionate prices for what were amongst the worst seats in the house (something that is not Olivia's fault), I would not trade the experience for the world.

I would however avoid Chase Center in the future if I can. It was hands down the worst venue I have had the displeasure of seeing a concert. Two small bottles of water were over $17, and you of course are barred from bringing your own. Also the speaker rigging was set up in a way that blocked the view of the main stage from my vantage point. I feel like these speakers could have been rotated to eliminate this problem, but I doubt the venue cares.

In short, I will see her again, but I will be much more careful to track her website and InstaGram so I can get tickets on day one and I will make sure to avoid seeing her at Chase Center even if I have to fly to LA to make that happen. Fans need to be ready to buy tickets a year in advance if they want to avoid tickets in the hundreds to thousands of dollars.

Hi Olivia Rodrigo!!! You are my favorite singer in the entire world! I love every song from you and can sing then without the lyrics! I'm actually listening to your song drivers license as I type this. To be honest I have emailed your managers but no response and I have tried every number to call just to try to talk to you. I love your music and your voice!! I want to see you in concert (im only 13 years old by the way) but my family doesn't know who you are and they are not going to take me out of state so I can see you when they don't know who you are. Can you come the Indianapolis in 2025 please? I realy realy want to see you. I don't have a phone but I have your Guts album and I am getting your sour album and I'm subscribed to you on spotify! i just went to a concert of hers in Belgium on the GUTS tour, and it was AMAZING!! some of my friends and family have loved her for quite a long time, whereas I'm quite a recent fan. before the concert, I knew most of her songs and I liked I liked her style (of singing and of fashion), but I probably wasn't her n1 fan.
but after the concert, I felt that I've experienced something amazing and I started loving her even more!! she was a great performer and the concert was super interactive! everyone sang along to all of her songs which gave a cool vibe and it was super cute how all her fans dressed up in a theme from one of her songs. in total, the concert was the most fun experience WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND

Hey, Olivia!!! U are my favorite singer out of this entire world, i know every song, every lyric and every song from H.M.T.M.T.S. U are amazing and ur music helped me sooooo much. I know u are really busy and u are probably not gonna see this, but I would really love to see u live. If i remember corectly, u once said u love Budapest, and i wanted to ask if is there any chance that u are gonna make a concert there, mabye in ur next world tour?(i'm so excited for ur next album and i'm sure it's gonna be amazing). Ur the best, Olivia!!!!!

Ik you're really busy, but it would mean the WORLD to me if you came to Hungary! I couldn't go to any of your concerts, but I really really love you and your music!! Hi Olivia!!! I absolutely love love love your music because it is just amazing! There are songs to listen to when you're sad, happy, or really anything! The only thing is I'm not allowed to go to concerts with really bad language. It would mean the world to me if you had certain concerts that are clean for those who loves your songs, but don't want to listen to the curse words or just younger people in general. Hey Olivia, you should do a concert in Boise ID. Me and my siblings would love to see you but all of your concerts are too far away. I'm going to be 16 in about a month and will be getting my license and Would love it if you did one around march or April.
