Mr. C

London born Richard West has many monikers: Sycophant Slags, Indigo Kidz and Mr. C. Under the name Mr. C, he has been a DJ, singer, rapper, record producer and is even the co-owner of London’s The End nightclub. To say that Mr. C is a hard worker is a slight understatement. Having been hugely successful since the early 90s, he still is very active with doing live shows.
Since most of his live DJ sets are still in clubs, the places are usually packed. A majority of the people who are in the crowd are aware who the DJ is for the night, while the other portion is there just to get their dance on. Since it is a nightclub, there is constant music playing from the moment you walk in, but you know once Mr. C starts to take control because the MC energetically introduces him for the night. As soon as he starts spinning the crowd erupts in cheers and dance. He includes a lot of different styles of electronic music, from acid house to straightforward dance techno. Occasionally he’ll speak, but most of the time it is the MC who is attempting to pump up an already energetic crowd, that no one seems to pay attention to anyway.

If you want a night that stands out as epic, then you have to see this guy play, extremely good at working with the crowd and playing the tunes you remember and some that will become new favourites.
