Críticas en vivo
Geoff Tate and his band made a spectacular performance in Trondheim last night.
The band was remarkably tight, with the new drummer only four shows into the tour, and they really nailed the soundscape. Guitar sound and balance were more or less identical to the albums performed; "Rage for order and Empire".
I have been to a lot of concerts with artists and bands
from "way back when", but none can measure up to Geoff.
His vocal performance - his power, his range, and his stamina - is just as strong as it ever was.
Hail the king!
He's still got it !! Enjoyed the show… Told personal stories that made me love him even more and also debunked (just by watching and listening to him) some of the bullshit online about him not being personable and caring about his fans ... Love you Geoff ... Rock on bro !!
Geoff Tate was/is Excellent!
His daughter , Emily Wonderful!
The soundman did not do well.
The vocals were in the background. The musicians pros ,of course but too loud. Again , the soundman.
Overall.. I recommend seeing them. Hopefully I've done some good with my assessment.
The show was awesome...Geoff's voice is still outstanding. This is the second time seeing him live on a solo tour and I would definitely go again. I would say if you like he voice you should definitely go and see him perform. You will not be disappointed
Geoff put on a great show despite having a cold. They performed all of the Operation Mindcrime album and threw in Silent Lucidity as an encore. All the band members were energetic and focused on the crowd. Geoff still sounds great 30 years later.
The Zipper was a solid 10
Blaze a solid 9.5
Geoff was kinda disappointing 7.5
All in all the show was AWESOME ‼️
Rams Head--- AWESOME ‼️
Will definitely go see the 3 again, hopefully --if Tate keeps his mind right!
I've seen Geoff Tate many times and this was the best he has sounded in several years. He is on the top of his game!
Not overly fond of his band mates, he has had better but his voice was dead on.
Always good everytime I see him! Best in my book! Operation mindcrime, queensryche whatever may be at the time. I will always be a follower of Geoff Tate! The BOMB
