Rachel Sermanni

Don' go and see Rachel Sermanni. If you do you will see how amazing she is and you will tell your friends and then there will be more people coming to her gigs and I just don't like crowds. She is probably the most talented singer-songwriter I've heard and reminds me a lot of Joni Mitchell (if Joni Mitchell had dark hair and was from the Highlands of Scotland). She is a treasure and also seems to attract a whole load of other super talented musicians to perform with her as well. Seriously though, 5 out of 5 stars.

Rachel and her band were on top form tonight. Some older, familiar songs and some good new ones were showcased. Adam Holmes even featured in a duet.
I have been following Rachel's progress from her very early days on the music scene and she is developing into a mature and very talented performer as well as a deeply thoughtful writer. Oh and she plays guitar superbly too!

This girl is stunning! The highest level of performance, deep lyrics, beautiful music, incredible voice. Very charismatic and funny. Hope she will come to London again! I would travel across the country to see her. Hope she will be discovered by a lot more people and be able to tour more often then.

Rachel's version of "Never Be Mine" was one of the most sublime and touching things I've ever heard. There are certain singers who come along once in 50 years or even a century and she is one of them.
