Biografía
Bret Michaels embarked on a solo career, and released his first solo full-length studio album on August 25th 1998, entitled “A Letter from Death Row”. It is the soundtrack to a movie 'A Letter from Death Row' that Michaels wrote, directed and starred in. The album features guest appearances from his ex-band mate C.C DeVille.
It wasn’t until his fourth studio album “Custom Built”, released on July 6th 2010 that Michaels enjoyed chart success again. It is his highest charting solo album to date peaking at #1 on the Top Independent Album and Top Hard Rock Albums chart. It also made it to #14 on The Billboard 200. The lead single from the album “Nothing to Lose” features pop singer Miley Cyrus. The song reached #32 in the Billboard top Rock Digital Songs chart. The opening track from the album “Riding Against the Wind” is the theme song to the Bret Michaels reality Docu-series 'Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It', which is the follow up to the Rock of Love series. The album also has a country music version of Poison’s number one single, “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”
The follow up album “Jammin’ with Friends” is the fifth studio album by Michaels. It was released on June 25th 2013 and it brings together friends that Michaels has made throughout his career with some of the songs that have shaped his success. The lead single from the album is a song called “Get Your Rock On” featuring Phil Collen from Def Leppard and Sal Costa. The song served as Monster Energy AMA Supercross Opener on Speed with an exclusive video that premiered on SPEED TV. There was also a re-recorded version of “Nothin’ But a Good time” featuring Ace Frehley from KISS and Michael Anthony from Van Halen. Michaels even tried his hand at a fun, tongue in cheek country crossover tune entitled “They Don’t Make An App For That” also known as “The App Song”. Michaels even managed to get Joe Perry from Aerosmith to feature on a re-recording of “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn”. The album reached #13 on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums Chart.

The Bret Michaels concert was an amazing experience for me! I have been a fan of Poison for several years and I have never had a chance to go to one of their shows. Bret Michaels has always and forever will be my favortie singer and finally getting the chance to see him perform live was awesome! His show as very entergetic and he was very interactive with the crowd! This being my first show I was lucky enough to be front row right in front of the stage. I had the great oppritunity of holding his hand 4 times as well as him kneeling down and letting me sing into the microphone 2 times! Bret knows how to rock a crowd! If you ever get the chance to attend one of his concerts you will not be disappointed! He is an amazing singer, musician and performer who truly cares about his fans and gives is shows 150%...
FANTASTIC!!!
There is something that can't be captured in all the (wonderful) YouTube videos I caught of Bret Michaels (before deciding whether to go to the concert). This was my 1st time seeing him play out live.
The one word that you must experience in person with this fellow is SPIRIT!!
The energy generated by Bret Michaels as well as the WORLD CLASS folks he has in the band along with the sound system made for one of the best rock 'n roll concerts I've ever been to in my life!
From the way he introduced the songs to bringing several military personnel up on the stage to applaud their work, along with other nuances made for an amazing show!!
Awesome show. Per usual, the energy was high; and the music was awesome. The set list was pretty much the same with the exception of the "Ride the Wind".
The band busted into the Poison classic right after Look What the Cat Dragged In. BUT something tells me it was a impromptu change. He had not been playing it LIVE lately, but some crazy fan yelled it from the 3rd row and he caught wind of it. Whatever the reason, awesome addition!!!!
The Biloxi show is the best show of the year and this year was no exception.
The venue changed, which I preferred. The Beau has a better set-up than the Hard Rock. I hope the change is permanent.

The concert was AWESOME! His shows are always high energy and simply ROCKIN'!!!! The highlight of the evening was getting to meet him!! He is humble and an appreciative individual who loves his fans!!! This happened to be a benefit concert that raised $55,000 for the pediatric heart patients of UPMC! He is also a very generous person which makes him an all around great person who puts on a FABULOUS show!!! I HIGHLY recommend any of his performances!
It was an awesome show!! Been a fan since the 70's. I was super happy to get to meet him. Just wish i hadnt been so nervous so i could have talked to him more. He really seems like a very caring & compassionate man. He's very soft spoken. Wish i could have gotten to know him better. He seems like he would be fun to hang out with. I will definitely go to more of his concerts.maybe someday i will get to meet him again.
Thank you,
Peggy Tate

One of the best concerts I’ve seen in a long time. I’ve been wanting to see him for years. The price was in my range. Very energetic! Great time! I was there with three friends.we know the drummer and the acoustic guitar from high school. Was able to meet the other members along with Bret. Very enjoyable.
His show was wonderful. He did a fabulous job with the local children from the area. Strolling Strings and Uptown Music Collective. I am looking forward to a reunion tour with Poison in the future. I was even blessed to be able to meet Bret after the show. What a great man. I Love You Bret Michael's xoxo
