Biografía
Born Frederick Dierks Bentley on 20 November 1975 in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2003 with the release (via Capitol Nashville) of his self-titled album, Bentley found almost instant success. His single “What Was I Thinking” reached Number One on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks, and the album reaching platinum status. His sophomore album, “Modern Day Thriller” released in 2005 also reached platinum and had two singles reach Number One on the charts as well. That same year he also received the CMA Horizon Award (now known as Best New Artist award) and was invited to be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.
Bentley continued to find success, releasing “Long Trip Alone” in 2006 producing two charting singles, and in 2007 he released a DVD of his live performance in Denver, Colorado. Bentley also went on tour in 2006 with Kenney Chesney, as well as Sugarland, Carrie Underwood and Jake Owen. His next few albums were met with just as much success and Bentley continued to extensively tour as both a support for other country artists, as well as a few headline tours. His eighth studio album, “Riser,” was released on 25 February 2014, and while the first single became his lowest charting single, the three singles that followed maintained high numbers on the charts.

Multi-platinum selling country music heartthrob Dierks Bentley certainly knows how to put on a show. The Arizona-born crooner, who has been hitting the Number 1 spot in the US charts since his debut, ‘What Was I Thinkin’ in 2003, still dominates the popular country and bluegrass scene, and sells out arena tours worldwide. His tell-it-like-it-is lyrical style and amped-up, guitar-led country jives are part of radio-friendly appeal, and as a live act Bentley doesn’t disappoint either, with a live band behind him as well as showing his prowess on guitar and melodically throaty vocals, and always showing his charisma and appreciation of the fans who come to his shows. He was extra-appreciative the night I saw him headline the AK-Chin Pavilion in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona last month- telling the excitable crowd on multiple occasions throughout his set that ‘this is where the dream of being a country singer began for me’, and that ‘this is easily the best night of the tour’. Of course, the crowd went wild for such ecstatic words, and really let loose for all his hits, such as the foot-stomping ‘Lot Of Leavin’ Left To Do’ and the singalong favourite, ‘Drunk On A Plane’. The highlight though was when Bentley showcased his newer bluegrass material with a beautiful rendition of ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’. This was fun-filled night of pure, no-nonsense country music that got the entire arena dancing.
Dierks Bentley, the Arizona born heartthrob has been appearing consistently on the US country chart since the release of his self-titled debut in 2003. Having achieved huge commerciality in the States and a handful of number ones on the country charts he has amassed a huge following and plays arenas globally.
Despite entertaining thousands, Bentley and his high quality live band make the whole show feel very organic and natural, less bravado and more musicianship. Dierks is a charismatic frontman who swaggers around the stage with guitar in hand working his crowd into huge excitement before playing mega-hits such as 'Sideways'.
His band have a great rapport and really jam out during a country-fied version of Bon Jovi's 'Living On A Prayer' which keeps the audience singing at the top of their voices. Rounding the show off with a selection of his biggest hits such as 'Come A Little Closer' and 'I Hold On' keeps the crowd cheering until the final reverberated guitar note had faded away. Returning for an encore, the whole crowd erupts in cheers as Bentley cheekily runs back onstage and rips into a couple more of his guitar heavy country hits before taking his final bow and thanking his fans.
Loved, loved, loved the Dierks Bentley concert. He was high energy and very entertaining. I loved how he came out into the crowd to perform on a platform so those of us who weren't as close to the stage got to experience an up close and personal performance too. I thought he was crazy to dive out onto the crowd but hey! Made it all the more fun to watch him. And!!! I love Kip Moore. He was a great opening band and he personally signed his newly released CD. I got to shake his hand and meet him "briefly" in personal. All in all and great evening!
After seeing Dierks Bentley in July, I knew I had to see him again. It was a fantastic, energy filled show. I've never been more happy to be pit at a show, he was fantastic. You can even tell he's personable in his shows. Songkick helped me get tickets and find this show so close to me.The venue check-in worked so smoothly and all the staff was respectable, Security was working very hard as well. Great experience, great night, thank you Dierks Bentley.
We had so much fun at the Dierks Bentley concert. We really enjoyed him and Brother's Osbourne. I'm not a fan of The Cadillac Three, so I was disappointed to find out they were opening instead of LanCo. We really had a great time other wise. We took my little 3yo cousin for his first concert. He was excited to see "ain't my fault" Brother's Osbourne ROCKED THE HOUSE! and Dierks sure brings the ENERGY! We LOVED the "drunk on a plane" encore!
The concert was fantastic! Jon Pardi opened and was very good. Cole Swindell followed and he was so good that he could headline his own tour. Dierks Bentley was fantastic. He was very engaged with audience and the final song... Drunk on a Plane was amazing! He had both Jon Pardi and Cole Swindell on stage and came out as a pilot in a plane. The Tribute C Centre is great place to watch a concert. Every seat is excellent.
We saw Dierks Bentley at the Taste of Country Lansing MI. He is always so personal with the fans and seems to go the extra mile to recognize the fans way up in the nose bleed seats! We really feel he is a genuine country music artist. This is our 3rd time seeing him and it just keeps getting better! The band as a whole is excellent!!!!
Attended the Somewhere on a Beach tour in Ridgefield, WA last night. Let me tell you we had an absolute BLAST! Tucker, Cam, Randy & Dierks put on an amazing show! My daughter & I attended 3 country concerts over the Summer & this was by far our favorite! Thanks Dierks & Co. for a great time! Can't wait for you to come back to the PNW!
Dierks Bentley is so amazing! I can't believe I'm going to see him live at Cruzan Amphitheater tomorrow! Didn't think I would be able to but managed to get last minute tickets online for me and my friend... see you there!

Most preformers hash out song after song, but Dierks Bentley really took his time explaining the importance of each song. His love for the lyrics and emotion behind them was apparent and really made the show even more enjoyable. His energy was contagious and his apparent humbleness made me adore him even more.
