Biografía
Born on 7 September 1977 in Utrecht, Netherlands Fedde Le Grand first hit the music scene with the single "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit" in 2006 and reached several top lists in a number of countries including: top five on the Dutch Top 40, number one in the United Kingdom and spent five weeks on the Dance Charts in Spain. He then released several tracks such as “Let Me Think About It,” “Control Room,” “Sparks,” and remixes like Coldplay’s “Paradise” and ERTG’s “Missing” and Nikki Williams “Glowing.” These releases helped rocket him into continued success around the world, playing a number of major festivals such as Ultra in Miami.
Along with fellow DJS, Funkerman and Raf Jensen, Fedde le Grand founded Flamingo Recordings in 2004. Additionally, he started mixing a weekly radio show called "Dark Light Sessions" that airs every Friday on satellite radio, which features many of the Flamingo releases. In 2009 Fedde Le Grand was named by DJ magazine as number 29 on their annual Top 100 DJ Poll. On top of major EDM festivals, he also has played a number of other major festivals such as Coachella in Indigo Valley in California, and Exit Festival in Serbia.

Despite the fact that his best known track to date, ‘Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit’, might suggest ties to the American city, Fedde Le Grand is, in fact, from the Netherlands; Utrecht, to be precise. It might have taken him until 2006 to experience genuine charts success with that track - it topped the singles charts in the UK - but he’d been in the game a while already at that point, releasing underground singles like ‘The Vibe’ and ‘I Miss You’ that were hits in the clubs, if not on the radio. Since ‘Detroit’ made a name for him, Le Grand hit the top ten in the UK twice the following year, with ‘The Creeps’ and ‘Let Me Think About It’, but has retained a relatively low profile since. Le Grand’s last full-length album, Be at Space, dropped in 2011, but he’s continued to release new singles as he’s gone along since; ‘Don’t Give Up’ ‘You Got This’ and ‘Twisted’ all having been released this year. He continues to tour European clubs prodigiously, too, delivering high-energy and often experimental sets that blur the line between house and techno. He’s not played in the UK since late 2012, at the Ministry of Sound in London, but he’s seldom away for long; look out for more dates once he’s wrapped up his current U.S. run.
Dutch house DJ and producer who's real name is actually Fedde le Grand may well be best known internationally for his 2006 hit 'Put Your Hands Up (For Detroit) yet it is very much his high quality live show that has kept him at the height of his game almost a decade since that release.
His show is considered to be one of the best examples of creative electro and house on the circuit and he is a frequenter of some of the world's most renowned dance events including Coachella and Ultra Music festival. He does not rely on his one international hit in order to make the crowds dance all throughout the evening, he has a whole plethora of tracks such as 'Diamonds In The Sky' and 'Bootcamp' which entrance the jumping masses. The trance beats are heavily involved in the live show and paired with the absorbing visuals, Fedde creates a small self contained dance world. His set is one extended mix of his best works, interwoven with a couple of tracks such as 'Paradise' by Coldplay which works well with his own bright dance music.
This concert was a scam. Fedde le Grand was not playing at Ministry of Sound, we bought the tickets relying on this site and to find out once we arrived that he was not going to play. We asked several members of staff and they had no knowledge of the event.
This is unacceptable for this site. It brings people to purchase tickets for events that are not taking place. And moreover in the case of concerts, it is usually good money.
Would have never gone to Ministry of Sound if Fedde le Grand was not playing, so I got robbed ₤22,4, times 5 people.
Also I dragged my friends there, who were as angry as myself in this situation.
I will need to find another site to rely on for concerts.
