Nils Landgren may just bee one of the biggest and well-known trombone players in the world. He hails from Sweden, and has been on the scene since the early 70s, writing some of the most amazing blues and smooth jazz music, with his glissando laden music that wherever he goes makes people dance all over the globe. His set is a mixture of songs of his own and some of the biggest songs ever written such as “I Will Survive” only it is played in a way that you have never heard before. It is so different, but engages this whole audience to jump up and down as soon as the beat kicks in to join in. It’s just one of those atmospheres. “The Moon, the Stars and You” is a song that elevates the atmosphere from a 6 right up to a 10. “Broken Wings” features some insanely good qualities, inducing a natural sway from the crowd from left to right. You need to go and check out this show to experience a tangible and easy to listen to virtuosity.
