I didn't want to dance, but for the life of me once I started I just couldn't stop!
So being in Barcelona (as you do), my friend was so adamant to go and see a group called 'Fangoria' not knowing who they were, I decided to do a bit of research and as it turns out they are quite a popular band, in the pop and electro genre.
If they're popular then they must make good music. Myself, not being one for turning down offers decided it would be for the best to give it a go, you only live once after all, but now I want to reincarnate!
The venue was rammed to capacity! they really were popular, before I could even speculate as to what would happen next, an up tempo rhythm played, from their song titled 'A quién le importa' I'm not sure what that translates into but if I could translate I would say 'The song that changed my life!'
A string of dancers swarmed the stage and began moving in rhythm with each other, I didn't even know pop groups still had dance routines, I was somewhat dazed and had to take it all in but this was amazing!
The lights began changing colour and the audience members started clapping, I had no choice but to join in and then the main singer of the group came on stage, her beautiful name is Alaska and let me say this, if she's Alaska then boy, I want to be Canada!
I immediately started dancing, the energy infected my body in a moments notice, happiness overode me, even though I felt as if the Spanish sung lyrics were sad, they went well with the instrumentation, because of this pop duo I WANT to learn Spanish.
Book your tickets now, I'm telling you not as a man but as a continent!
