Kakkmaddafakka, although their name is nearly impossible to say out loud on cue, the band has always delivered fun and lively performances. The Norwegian indie rock band includes a combination of hip-hop, R&B, rock, Reggae, disco and some house music into their mix, they clearly don't like to stick to one thing. Their performances are always full of energy and people, they make it come alive and not just with their music. They released their first EP in 2006 called 'Already your favourite EP', which I suppose is a good way to be blunt about how they think you should take their music. The Norwegian press referred to them as the 'New Bergen Wave'. The group have performed many festivals and done several gigs, each one an unforgettable experience. I didn't think much of them before I saw them live, but they are so over the top that it makes you just want to go crazy with them. They don't just create music; they create an experience for the crowd to get involved in. A must see band that deserves a lot of respect for any music lovers, their passion is evident and their enthusiasm is infectious. I’d advise any fans of this type of genre of music to check them out.
Kakkmaddafakka was pure energy!
I arrive a bit early and I have the opportunity to see Yogui, a solo project from Technicolor Fabrics's guitarist. At first it was a bit boring but he could capture slowly my attention, his song 'Guapa' was the most important moment; I absolutely recommend search it and listen to new music.
However Yogui was good, the crowd was waiting KMF! Peer Gynt, by Edvard Grieg, started, we were screaming and jumping and then KMF stand on the stage! Pure magic since that moment.
Old songs, new songs, all perfectly balanced, I enjoy dancing during Touching, Neighborhood, Restless and Forever Alone, the last song were crowd was on fire!
I'm really thankful for the lovely words they dedicated for Mexico.
An amazing night which I could hardly forget, one of the best shows I've seen this year.
Wow these guys have such a great energy and have always a really open attitude towards the fans! And the live performance is at least as good as their studio records. The location was tiny but really nice! And big shutout to the merch guy (I think it's Alfredo?) nicest guy ever :D to sum up I had a really great evening
The show was so amazing. They're incredibly talented. I loved their live performance! Their songs are awesome. They had a lot of energy on the stage and they were cool and light hearted. They were super fun, I'm looking forward to seeing them again in a future show!!!
Just wowwwwww. Seeing kakkmaddafakka in barcelona was amazing. They just love the city and showed an amazing performance. I feel great after seeing them! I sang all their songs and the venue was such a small and cozy one, I loved it!
Great band, their music makes you dance instantly, it was a great live show. They have a good interaction with the crowd, and the band members are really nice! The venue was perfect for this concert.
