Good gig..
Really catchy tunes, pretty awesome set.
For such a new band they have some amazing songs. The first time I saw these guys was at Community Festival last year. When we heard that Marsicans were supporting them we knew we needed to go. If you havent seen them live, check out their debut album and get along to a gig.
Loved the bit where the lead singer called out some idiot on twitter, and the guitar solo.
If you like artists like metric, misterwives or fine frenzy check out Fickle Friends.
Not only are they my favourite band, but they are absolutely phenomenal live and had a really great energy even in such a small venue. The highlight was that they even came out at the end and met some of the fans, me included, and I think that's what makes them such as great band as they are really lovely people and really appreciate the support of their fans. I would definitely recommend seeing them in concert, they were worth so much more than the £12 ticket. :)
Natti's strong yet sweet vocals give Fickle Friends a really distinctive character that hooks you right away. From the first note to the last, you can sense the quality of their musicianship. A special call out for Matt Woods who supported on the night with a too-short set that showed off his heart-rending vocals and beautiful song-writing. Definitely worth following this supremely talented group of musicians.
Fickle Friends are awesome! Great gig, amazing energy, and interaction with their fans. They bought a birthday cake for a fan and presented it during the gig and for the last song had pre arranged some fans to come on stage and dance.
The venue's sound system was a bit bass heavy but still a very enjoyable gig.
I'll be going to many more Fickle Friend's gigs
Absolutely fantastic!! Lively and fun, these guys were brilliant, never a dull moment, played songs from their older catalogue as well as from their new album which is coming out soon (very excited audience).
