Everyone in the EDM world knows that Henry Fong has the heaviest and catchiest beats going with a slew of remixes that would make anyone dance wherever they are, he delivers exactly what everyone anticipated in the form of a production odyssey of music making this audience sing along, wave their glow sticks around and someone even brought the powder paint which is flying around, making the whole thing a very tactile experience in general. One of my personal highlights of this set is when he decides to do a remix of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, which makes the audience go absolutely nuts. The original mix of “Scream” is a highlight for this huge gathering today, as it “Revival”, with the intricate counter melodies and beats paired with mammoth bass lines that make everyone’s pulse somewhere in the region of about 140bpm. This performance tonight is so epic that I heard he posted the audio live on YouTube a couple of days later to say a huge thank you.
