ITERAE brings together New York electronic musician Joseph Branciforte and Belgian keyboardist Jozef Dumoulin, two artists who have each redefined the sonic language of the Fender Rhodes piano.
Performing on two Rhodes pianos with live electronics, the duo build intricate structures from the smallest sonic details: fragments are captured, looped, and recombined in real time, blurring the line between improvisation and composition.
The result is music of striking tension and beauty — glitch-like textures dissolve into moments of harmonic clarity, lattice-like rhythmic patterns give way to dream-like atmospheres. Merging glitch, ambient, modern classical, and electroacoustic sensibilities with a deep improvisational focus, the duo’s live set balances spontaneity with the architectural control of custom digital systems, creating performances that feel at once ephemeral and meticulously designed.
Their debut album ITERAE is due out on Greyfade in April 2026.
