Everyone loves a classic feel good song, especially TobyMac, who focuses on inserting moral and spiritual messages into his music and appealing to the whole of the Christian community. Although his songs are catchy and something you expect to hear at your local party, one has to look deeper into the lyrics to fully understand this remarkable performer. TobyMac is a versatile artist who is comfortable creating a plethora of songs from different genres, from dance to pop to rap to rock, but makes sure that his discography always contains a continuous theme of how his experience as a Christian makes him a better person. One of the most notable names in Christian music, TobyMac has recorded six solo albums since 2001 with most of his success coming in recent years, winning Top Christian Artist and Album at the Billboard Music Awards in 2013, along with a Grammy for the catchy single 'Speak Life' released this year. The 49-year-old has a dedicated following and has played to packed out arenas of over 10,000 people, including the WinterJam 2013 gig in South Califournia. TobyMac isn't afraid to have a good time on stage and can spring the occasional surprise to the hysterics of the audience. During a rendition of 'No Ordinary Love' he bought out a team of marching drummers to accompany him halfway through the song and also pranced around the stage with his band following the end performance of 'Me Without You' as confetti showered down from the ceiling. A truly manic and unforgettable performance.
