Gothenburg psychedelic rock outfit Hollow Ship bring their hypnotic, genre-defying sound into the studio for an intimate live session recorded in front of a select audience. The performance will be captured with full studio quality audio, so what you witness in the room is what ends up on tape.

Blending early British psychedelia with afro-pop, jazz improvisation, avant-garde synthesis and hard rock, Hollow Ship have built a reputation as one of Sweden’s most thrilling live acts. Praised by Prog Magazine, Shindig! and Raven Sings the Blues, the four-piece have spent the years since their 2019 debut carving out a singular space in the contemporary psychedelic scene, drawing comparisons to Dungen and Goat along the way.

Their most recent work finds them as adventurous as ever: the 2024 Animated Music Vinyl EP, born from their Space Motion live collaboration with visual artist Freddy Wallin, and the 2025 single The Preacher both point toward a band in full creative flight. With a second full-length album on the horizon, this session offers a rare and privileged glimpse into their process at a pivotal moment.
