Skydiggers

Skydiggers December 1st, 2014 - Centre In the Square, Kitchener. I have loved and admired this band for years, but somehow never managed to attend a single performance. I new this was a bit of a Christmas tour promoting their Christmas CD "Angels", thus I was not sure what expectations I could place on this performance.

Well I was not disappointed, the concert exceeded my expectations. The setup with all the fans seated on stage with the Skydiggers made for a personal and intimate experience. Their well crafted selection of Angels CD songs, mixed with my favourite from all past albums with a dashing of covers from artists such as John Prine and Ron Sexsmith made for an superlative melodic evening experience. It will not take me another 25 years to see this lengedary Canadian band again.
