The Valley Center Pauma Music Boosters and Cattle Call, LLC are partnering again to produce this FREE event which benefits the Valley Center Pauma schools music programs. The festival is unique in that it features a wide diversity of music with both a mixture of local bands and some bands from the upper level San Diego music scene.
This year’s festival offers classic rock, rock country, rockabilly, tex-mex, Christian rock, folk rock, and alt-country. The event is free; however, donations will be accepted. There will also be food, beer and wine, chances to win prizes and a silent auction with all proceeds going to the Valley Center/Pauma school music programs. Keeping instruments in kid’s hands is just one example of how the funds raised will be used. Each year hundreds of instruments are repaired and supplied to the students of the district at no cost to them. Valley Center students reap the benefits of this program year after year as they are traditionally top award winners all over the state when competing.
The music talent that will be showcased includes local bands as well as those that are established within the San Diego Music Community and include: Sara Petite & the Sugar Daddies, Lexington Field, Adopted, The Saltlickers, Bad Motor Posse, Not 4 Hire , Los Guys, and Sittin’ Fat.
This is a family friendly event with plenty of room for the kids to play. From “high noon” - 9:30pm at Bates Nut Farm, 15954 Woods Valley Road, Valley Center, CA, 92082. For more Info visit the event’s website at: www.facebook.com/ValleyCenterMusicFest
