Pony Pony Run Run

Hailing from France, Pony Pony Run Run is a new pop band with a distinct sound. This intriguingly-named band released they debut album in 2009 and their most recent album was released in 2012. Their concert experience offers an energetic and intense sound. They are clearly a “power pop” band combining aspects of both pop and rock music with their own electronic sound. Dressed all in black, the band members present a dark, punk look.

The show generated great enthusiasm from the audience, with a large group singing along during the performance of “Hey You”. The audience always cheered and seemed to be very into the performance. There wasn’t a dull moment in the song line-up and you’ll surely enjoy all of their high-energy numbers.

Their electronic sound offers an up-beat sound that remains distinct from other similar pop bands. Their energetic sound certainly lends itself to live performances; seeing the band members getting involved in their music creates an even more enjoyable listening experience. Pony Pony Run Run performs worldwide, with many concerts in their home country, France, but also providing shows in countries such as Brazil, China, and Lebanon.

Great performance by the band. It was totally awesome to hold a concert at La Maroquinerie. The small romain theatre style concert creates an intimate and cozy atomsphere. It makes me feel like having party with a bunch of friends.
