You just don’t see enough contemporary jazz bands around anymore. It’s a very particular sort of style and I understand it’s just unfortunately more of a background sort of genre in the grand scheme of things, but lets talk about Acoustic Alchemy, a band from London, UK, who walk on to the stage this evening, with no egos, just a bunch of musicians who make fantastic music when they play in this ensemble. They have been together for the best part of thirty years and have understandably gone through many lineups. Maybe this whole contemporary instrumental and smooth jazz idea is a rite of passage for the virtuosic jazz musicians of the world.

Great, tight band. Excellent guitarists who really know how to kill it in the name of smooth jazz. Half of what was played was new material from their soon to be released album, all good stuff! Would highly recommend.
Without a dought the best show I have ever seen and I'm 64 years old. I love the venue, it felt like they were playing just for me. What great musicians and very nice guys.
