The High Kings

Once again The High Kings were spectacular!! The High Kings bring us to a modern, high energy, high talent version of Irish music of era reminiscent of groups like The Clancy Brothers, Dubliners and Wolfe Tones.

The concert has of course, several traditional Irish songs. However, they manage to dig deep to find songs we love, that many groups do not play. And manage to mix them with newer songs that are quickly becoming beloved standards.

This is a group of highly talented musicians who clearly love their craft. The show is upbeat, well done and just plain fun.

The High Kings are a group of four very talented and fun guys who are proud of their Irish heritage. Their songs tell the folk tales of Ireland's history, and their voices share the passion and emotion of the times. They have brilliant harmonies, and each in his own right is a star. They each play a variety of instruments, and give their all in every song. Their concerts have something for everyone...ballads, upbeat roudy songs, accapella tunes, and serious songs of Ireland's pain. The High Kings are not to be missed. You will not be disappointed!

This show, by far, has been the best in a decade.
These guys are awesome on stage and off stage. Their singing is superb, professional and absolutely harmonised.
Each one has their one talent, playing instruments as if it were an extension of their body.
You can't miss listening and watching them on stage. No excuse if they're not close enough to your town. I flew all the way from Argentina to Hamburg, and would do it again.
A MUST !

Honestly, hands down one of if not the best concerts I have ever been too. From the singing to the instrumentals these guys had the Kent Stage clapping and singing along the whole concert. I have been waiting for this concert for a few years now and was definitely worth the wait. Darren, Finbar, George and Brian are the such a great group and would see them again 10/10.

They where very good I had a great night there was few new songs and they where very good and new member Paul O'Brien he was very good I would love meet than again

Third time of seeing them, didn’t feel they were quite as good as before but wouldn’t stop me going to see them again. Perhaps they are getting a little bit tired.

Big show great vocals lots of energy and Irland traditions. It was a good choice to again attend a night of Irish music , artfully shared by talented lads .
