Vincenzo Luvineri, aka Vinnie Paz, is an Italian-American rapper who has gained a lot of attention for the grittiness of his music. He takes a no holds bar on the lyrics of his raps and makes references to controversial topics such as politics, war, and religion. But as much flack as he may get for rapping about these controversial topics, he is exemplifying the idea that music is a form of expression, and his songs are merely a representation of himself in vocal form.
His live shows are an interesting experience to watch. With him on stage he has a hype man and a DJ running the tracks. He has high amounts of energy solely coming from the passion of being able to express him mind. His words flow out like a river, crashing through anything that could seem like a barrier. Before some songs start, he has recordings that usually indicate the topic of the song that is about to start. He uses the entire stage, letting his expression and passion take over as he moves. He is unapologetic, and what you expect to get is exactly what he delivers to you. His fans clearly love him, and are rapping along with him to almost every song.
