There are plenty of bands out there that take hiatuses over years before life is happening, with other commitments, some band members want to go and study at art college in Rome etc… That is one of the things that happened to Plastilina Mosh, an alternative rock band from Monterrey in México.
When they made their “comeback” in 2008 it was straight back to the grind of writing recording releasing promoting and touring. I say grind, but it’s definitely the high life! This band have made a huge name for themselves, releasing four studio albums and signed a deal with Capitol Recorded. Their sound is exciting, laden with catchy 80’s dance rock esque riffs making this audience this evening dance their socks off. The atmosphere is fun, as they plough through songs such as “My Party” and the fantastic “Danny Trejo”. You know a band is good if they write a song about Danny Trejo, the legend that is. They’ve done really well for a couple of dudes who met in a Wal-Mart playing Super Nintendo.
