When you ask an EDM person what kind they do, you will never get a straight answer out of them. It’s always a little bit all over the place. You ask them if they do house music and they will reply, “Well sort of, but it’s a little bit more 2-step, kinda dub kinda fresh wave etc… etc…” Sshhhhh. It’s all EDM music, lets just use that as the umbrella term. Lasgo are insistent that they are a trance group. “Okay that’s fine, lets just stick with that.” This group who formed in Belgium on the stroke of the millennium, have had a great amount of success thus far in their career, (a year in, winning the best national single award on the Belgian TMF Awards 2001).
Tonight, the patrons are expecting ALL of the hits for this huge two hours set, and that’s exactly what they get. “Something” is the huge international hit that kicks off proceedings with everyone jumping up and down to this huge sound that they create. “Gone” and “Lost” are songs that all come in the form of a full-length album called “Smile” gracing the ears of these trance hungry punters. “Tonight”, despite not matching the success of their previous singles, is a huge hit amongst their big fans.
