N-Dubz, the hip hop group who first made me fall in love with my now favourite genre of music.
Their hiatus for the last 3 years has disappointed many people, but with the rumours of a reunion in the works, any true fan will be rejoicing, not mourning. I can only imagine what magic a reunion tour would bring to all of their fans. After seeing their final performance, witnessing the talent and energy of the three artists, I am eagerly anticipating their next ventures.
The show began with support from Professor Green, setting the tone perfectly, getting the audience hyped and prepared for the main act. His set was fantastic, and actually encouraged me to buy a ticket to see one of his shows last November. After the opening act, the three of them entered the stage on bikes, setting the fun and carefree tone of the evening's performance.
The singing and rapping were perfectly timed over each other and had the perfect sound balances. They worked together as a unit and you could tell that as well as being a tight knit group of performers, they are great friends, laughing with each other onstage, and interacting wonderfully with the audience.
They played all of their hits flawlessly as well as integrating some of their newer, less well known material. As well as strong performances, their visual aids contributed wonderfully, with flames, smoke, and costume changes keeping the audience thoroughly entertained.
After seeing their live performance, I was even more of a fan than before, and can't wait for the chance to see them again.
