Maitre Gim's

We are very very very disappointed! We traveled 5 hours from south Hungary to see Maitre Gims, we stand in the queue at 21:30, they said the entree is at 22:00. Okay we got in, dj-s were playing, we hoped at 22:50 that Maitre Gims wont be late so much, maybe a 10-15 min. It was 23:30 when we hope that show will start 00:00 but noooooo, dj-s still playin and nobody said what happens. We kept up to breathe smoky air and still standing on our places, because the security always gone around to alert everybody not to sit down. Ridiculous.. We came to a concert, not a fucking party... :@ It could be 1:00 when a black noname singer came up to the stage. Ok, he singed a song, singed another one and we hoped this is a little introduction of Maitre Gims.. When the noname singer started his 4th music, everybody started to whistle him out, and shouting. There were at least 300 very very angry people, only 20-30 who enjoyed the party, the rest were standing and waiting the concert. The noname singer came off the stage, but maitre gims nowhere.. WHATTTTHEEFUCK we asked. After that sby started to speak in mic that Maitre Gims almost here he will start at 2:00, but they hope that he will start in time.. lol really? Okay dj-s continued to playing musics, its 2:00, securities moving etc., Gims stepped on the stage at 2:15... So remember again: we enter the queue at 21:30, the show was written (on every fking platform) to 23:00h but we have to wait more 3 hours in standing position to see Maitre Gims.... And whe he started I was so fucking angry that I couldn't enjoy the show, and I think I wasnt alone with that. Not talking about that 4 hours waiting for a 30min show...WTF for real... At the moment I hated Maitre Gims, I hated all concert in the world, I hate all organizers and i decided to never ever again go to any concert!!!! I work in show business too, but you guys, you fucked it so much. If I were the organizer i would give you a big penalty. My fav. singer WAS Maitre Gims but I will never forget this bad memorie. I payed almost 350 euro (4pers, with transpo) for this day and it was a HUUUUGE disappointment. Thanks for nothing!

Part of Parisian hip-hop collective known for their polished image, Sexion d’Assaut, Maitre Gims’ breakaway career has spawned a collection of singles, most recently ‘Zombie’, ‘Bella’ and ‘You Lose’ off 2013’s Subliminal. He’s made an impression in France and Benelux, playing a whole host of solo shows to promote Subliminal, and making number 2 in the French charts and number 1 in the Belgian French charts. After commercial success, the album was extended with a bonus six tracks under the new name, Subliminal: La Face Cachee. The bravado and intensity of Sexion d’Assaut tracks is offset by a sort of sensitivity in Maitre Gims’ solo work, which is instilled with a kind of old school balladry. He pours his brooding heart into the soaring ‘Bella’, ‘J’me Tire’ (‘I Withdraw Myself’) and ‘Ça marche’ ft. Shin Sekaï. With glitzy vocal equalisers and carribean reggaeton beats, Maitre Gims’ romantic entreaties make for an exotic mix of tropical cadences. He’s recognisable for always hiding behind Kanye-esque, broad-rimmed shades. An appearance without the shades in the clips, live shows and interviews is unheard of.

On the app, it informed that doors opened at 715p. Once we arrived, the ushers were very friendly and efficient and informed us that the show would start at 8pm, but we didn't see Maitre Gim until like 1030pm!! The opening acts were lackluster, except the DJ with the long dreads. Maitre Gims was good, his voice is truly unique and unusual. Since I am Congolese and relate to him on this premise, I was hoping for more Congo references: either through dancing or musical instruments.

Le Concert a Munich etait prevu pour 20h00. A 20h15 un DJ commencait a mettre le feu, puis und pose, Gins apparait a 20h50. Il nous fait ecouter ses plus Grands success, quelques uns sont coupes a und duree d une minute, comme und Revue, vite fait.
At 22.00 pile poil le show est Fini. Gims quitte la scene. Pas de retour, pas de regard, pas de bis.
Il a une voix d enfer, mais un Concert dans ce cadre avec peu de monde dans ce club demande Encore plus de cherir ses Fans.

I've waited years for Maître to come to Stockholm, Sweden and the wait was definitely worth it.
His energy and the stage presence he has is amazing. That voice of his is even more beautiful, he is a true artist.
It was a smal venue but that didn't effect the experience, even with that it was terrific. I can only imagine how it will be when he returns and hopefully he will and do it at a bigger venue.

Maître Gims was great but there were too many opening acts prior to the headliner. I think it’s inappropriate for a Standing Room event. We were standing for FOUR hours. I will probably not go to another event sponsored by Le Noir Entertainment.

Mon premier concert et je ne suis pas déçu ! C'était génial, le fuego comme le nom de la tournée.
Le kiffe total, une voix magnifique contrairement à ce que certains peuvent dire.
Merci beaucoup pour ce concert inoubliable.
