Biographie
Born in Tuscan, Arizona to Mexican parents, Luis Coronel first began singing at the age of six as a part of his local church choir. With the arrival of his teenage years Coronel began boxing and left his musical interest on the back-burner. However, following a particular successful boxing match, Coronel sang a song from the ring, which went viral upon being uploaded to YouTube. Aiming to build on this success, the singer left behind the world of boxing and began uploading renditions of songs to YouTube and Facebook. Before long Coronel had developed a significant social media following, which caught the attention of Del Records, who subsequently signed the 16 year-old.
The singer continued to upload to songs to his media outlets, before releasing his debut, studio album “Con la frente en alto” in 2013. Topping the U.S. Regional Mexican Albums chart and rising to No. 80 on the U.S. Billboard 200, the record proved an instant success, and later earned gold certification. The following year Coronel won the New Artist of the Year Award at the Latin Billboard Music Awards and the Feeling Social Award at the Permios Tu Mundo.
In September 2014 Coronel released his sophomore album “Quiero ser tu dueño”. Once again topping the U.S. Regional Mexican Albums Chart as well as the U.S. Top Latin Albums Chart, the record also peaked at No. 33 on the Billboard 200, an impressive feat for such a young Latin-oriented artist. The release led to a subsequent string of awards including the Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, The Voice of the Moment Award as well as Premios Juventus’ Regional Mexican Artist Award.

After seeing Luis Coronel perform live and watching the ease with which he commanded the stage, it’s not surprising that he signed his first record deal at the young age of 16. Building himself up through social media paid off big time for the young artist, and only two years after signing his first contract, he’s had several singles enter the billboard charts, as well as having his debut album being certified gold.
He opened the show with the track Mi Nina Traviesa which he absolutely rocked, and the band behind him were incredible smashing out every chord that they attempted from start to finish. The saxophonist played an incredible solo and got everyone singing and dancing along with the awesome music.
He played a great selection of tracks from his debut album, as well as playing a few covers within the set. Towards the end of the show, Coronel played a new song that he’s not yet released, and hearing an original track that had never been played live before was a great live experience.

Seeing Luis Coronel in concert is amazing. Little by little I fell in love with him and until today I’m a big fan. I try to assist to all of his concerts and going to his upcoming one in Chicago. He talks about love. He’s so romantic and he’s so respectful towards others. He’s a humble guy and tries to help everyone that he can. He makes his concerts fun. If you like romantic songs and in Spanish I think you’ll love him the way I do too.

Seeing luis coronel was amazing! I love him so much! There was so many screaming when he entered and of course it's normal. But, when i saw luis coronel for the first time in my life i burst into tears. I was glad i was able to be there in Hidalgo to see my celebrity crush. Thank you so much songkick!

I love the concert it was so much fun! I got to see him for the first time I sang to all of the songs he sang and now I have a sore throat from singing and shouting of excitement but it was worth it! I loved it so much I wish the night didn't end and best Valentine's Day ever!❤️
