Great gig from a band who deserve to go far. Louisa has a great presence with a strong political message that deserves to be heard and taken heed of. Songs from the wonderful Revolution of Mind were all given excitingly driven live renditions and, despite the cramped conditions in the 'up close and personal' gig, still managed to draw a bit of a mosh pit! A heartfelt rendition of Sweet Harmony originally by Beloved, as one of the encores was a fitting choice alongside the albums lyrical content. Enjoy an exciting live band and absorb what is being said. It's your future she is singing about.
It need never be assumed that good song writers are capable of performing it live and connecting with an audience. Every band not previously seen is a hopeful punt. She Drew The Gun put across a moving experience, they were watchable, talented as musicians, impressive as a group and definitely gave something of themselves. Take the gamble to go and see this band that should be bigger. I had a great experience with them.
Oh WOW! Louisa and her band really DO present the highlight of an evening's music. The most entertainingly thought-provoking social and political commentary lyrics, backed with well-crafted and artfully-relevant complimentary light show effects, delight the eyes, ears and mind.
Keep it coming as She Drew The Gun!
See you again, SOON!
Super show with a mixture of music and poem.
Musically excellent with very emotive songs especially Poem, great voice, tight drums, good visual show with great visual clips behind every song.
3rd time we have seen She Drew The Gun they did not disappoint, a must see before they get big.
The art of protest lives on - thank goodness!!! It has found a new vioce inLouisa Roach - she drifts between hard hittig spoken word and melodious smokey vocals.
The band are tight and light where needed but can wig out with the best. Met and surpassed expectations.
Louisa what a wordsmith. To hear the songs stripped back intimate will be a something else. Saw the whole band in Brighton in 2017 it was just brilliant. Looking forward to seeing what this show beings next year.
The gun was loaded with a rockin sound, cracking visuals and inspired lyrics, giving a voice to the faithfuls feelings, power ti the ladies was a belter, great night, keep on keeping on.
Cant wait for these shows! saw them live in feb as a full band. To hear it all stripped back will be something else. Louisa's poetry is so on point a real storyteller of our times.
Can't wait for this. the first three albums have been so inspiring and of our time to hear it all stripped back and with poetry!!! going to be amazing! YES!!! SDTG :) x
Bit harsh on Louisa roaches songwriting earlier. She is very poetic and gifted. I just wish she would lighten up a bit. Music is great and the drummer is brilliant.
