Sarah Jarosz is going to be a staple in the bluegrass scene for a long time to come. At only 23 years of age, she's already got 3 solid albums under her belt and shows no signs of slowing down. Sarah, with her banjo, mandolin, and sweet and distinctive voice, accompanied by Alex Hargreaves on the fiddle and Nathaniel Smith on the cello, treat their listeners to a soulful collection of original bluegrass tunes such as "Run Away" and the rousing "Fuel the Fire" as well as an impressive cover of Bob Dylan's "Ring Them Bells" and a musical rendition of Edgar Allen Poe's touching and haunting poem "Annabelle Lee". This trio has no trouble captivating audiences with their talent, but it doesn't hurt that Sarah could likely sing straight from the phonebook and would somehow make it sound incredible.
Sarah Jarod's is so massively talented. She always picks wonderful artists as openers. The show had an awesome dynamic flow. It's the second time I've seen her in concert and I'm still surprised by her amazing voice and instrumental skill. She can SHRED! And her guitarist and bassist are radical as well! Definitely recommend for any fans of country, bluegrass and/or folk.
Incredible lineup of Bluegrass artists, Tim O'Brien was a revelation, consummate instrumentalist and songsters all. First time, seeing Sarah, what a great young talent, far beyond her years! Nonstop music for over 3 1/2 hours including a warm up band while we were seating. Class act from production to musicians.
Simply wonderful. Sarah is a pure pleasure to see live and the intimate venue of the Sweetwater Music Hall was a perfect place for her.
She has such a pleasant and powerful stage presence for such a small woman and her voice just soothes the soul. Highly recommend anyone to see Sarah Jarosz in concert.
Sarah is by far one of the most talented folk artists of the day. She is amazing on the guitar, banjo and Mandolin. Her music and lyrics are so original. Her voice is one and only her. No one can come close to her. I am so glad I was fortunate enough to see her in person. She's another Texas great.
Loved the show! Virtuoso instrumentalists and great lyrics and connection with the audience. I can't recommend Sarah highly enough for future concert goers. We had a great time and would go back again tonight.
Great show at a great venue. Sarah is certainly one of the rising stars in the Americana movement underway. I am already looking forward to hearing her again as she expands her library of original material.
What a talent. What a treat!!
A perfect venue to see Sarah and her very talented band mates. Her voice played that room perfectly. Everyone was dialed in to make some very special moments.
