half•alive

I went to the show in Phoenix and wow, this was one of my favorite shows I’ve ever been to. The night started off strong with Sure Sure absolutely killing it. They were energetic. Their music was funky and so much fun, and sounded amazing. The guys were funny and entertaining and when we got to talk to them after, they were incredibly nice and down to earth. Now half•alive was spectacular. They put a very obviously high amount of work into the show, the choreography, the lights... and of course, their music is so meaningful and still fun and dance-able. All of the band members were clearly having a good time and they connected with the audience really well. I was slightly sad that Josh said they didn’t have any more music but they didn’t perform tiptoe! But that is literally my only complaint. It was an incredible, fun, emotional night and I loved every second. I would go to another stop on this same tour if given the chance. 50/10

One purpose of a concert is to connect with the artists and to enjoy together their music and I have to say, they absolutely nailed it!!

They had everything you could’ve wished for: Josh with his incredibly big vocal range, Brett with his amazing drum solos and Tyler who is just talented in so many things like playing the keyboard or the bass. I can’t forget the ja-collective dancers of course, with their astonishing performances.
And at the end we were even able to meet them again, have a talk to realise how even nicer they are in person, get our posters signed and, you can probably guess, have a group photo taken of all of us.

So all I can say is, it was so worth it and I hope one day, I’ll get a chance to see them again!!

I will never forget Josh, Tyler and Brett smiling all throughout the show, the lights, the ambient they created, the beautiful people, the dancers omg!!! We danced, gasped, screamed, cried, and even made a few friends! Each and every song was so meaningful, so ethereal, and I can absolutely say it's another level of experience to see them live. It was also my first concert, absolutely worth every hour aawake at night waiting for the train(actually a flight) that could bring us home(my mom and I xD ok I'll stop...). If you connect with any of their songs, definitely go see them!!! <3

They are AMAZING performers. Their show incorporates dance and lights in a way I wasn’t expecting. Their talent is immense. There really wasn’t a detectable difference between the studio recordings of their music and their live performance of it. Singer Josh Taylor has incredible vocal power. I was totally blown away. A must-see performance, and I can’t wait until they come back to Phoenix so I can see them again! This group will be blowing up fast (as if they haven’t already).

Also, openers Sure Sure were also awesome and made great use of the lively crowd in the venue.

Fantastic show. You can tell that they care about every light, every note, every move from the visual ensemble is highlighted and taken care of. Extremely polished and professional. It's a quick show, but I'll take that over a long, drawn out musical performance any day. The show is fast paced and timing is excellent. Highly recommend these guys to anyone that's in love with their music, but anyone that wants to take part in an audio-visual experience unlike almost all musicians on tour these days. Such a great time!

My two daughters, their friend and I had an AMAZING time at the half•alive show! Immensely talented guys who put on an incredible live show. Love their artistry, dance, film...Very different from anything else we’ve experienced. Love all of their merch and we were very excited to meet them after the show! Already looking forward to their next trip to AZ!

H•A are my favourite band and it was amazing to see them in the beautiful venue that is Electric Brixton. The whole atmosphere of the performance with all different elements of the strings, dancers and the band themselves. Everything was amazing could have asked for a better night!

Keep doing what you’re doing guys it is amazing!!!!

The Half Alive concert in Sydney was absolutely amazing!! I would definitely recommend going to see them live. The energy was so amazing, and I loved every minute of it. The vocals were awesome, the dancing was astonishing, they really put on a fantastic show and I was so lucky to get to see them perform live!!!!!! I had so much fun!

The dancing was everything! We had waited so long for this and we were not let down. I’m already stoked for the next one. I was impressed by the opening acts too, their voices were just perfect. I listened to them before hand a little on Spotify but didn’t realize how much I was a fan until they played like. Great job guys!

the show was so entertaining and fun. the performance from the dancers and the vocals were spot on. everyone in the crowd had a great time, and i could tell the band put so much time and effort into giving the best live show they could. 10/10 would see again if i get the chance.
