I already have my favorites on Spotify, but didn't join the Royal Albert Hall concert myself!

Tonight I am very curious to watch the show on the Dutch television!!

I have my own program, www.caseybrooks.nl, and a couple of the new tracks I want to include in my new programme as well, acoustic perhaps.

On December 7, we will marry in Noordwijk, it would be very nice if Guus will sing the song 'Onze wereld' for us on Monday morning 09.15 hrs for our wedding or perhaps we can do the performance together once, his voice has the same timbre! In this way I can make a step forwards, I also like to play Niels Geusebroek live with guitar.

Otherwise, I would like to play a couple of my numbers in the news in a news reel in one of his future shows, that would be nice as well!!

As a singer songwriter as well new songs are being prepared in the near future! I also play Dutch songs from existing artists and am working on a new Dutch song as well.

I was taken along to see Gus Meeuwis perform live by a friend of mine, and I was a little apprehensive that I wouldn’t understand a lot of the show and might get bored because of the language barrier. If anyone else is worried about that when going to see him live, don’t be. His expressions, intonation, and body language are universal and he’s so dedicated to every phrase of his music and discloses the narrative precisely.

Although he’s been performing since the early 90s, there’s no sign of him slowing down or his performance weakening, and he put on a fantastic show with incredibly strong vocals. He was great at interacting with his band, and when he was going to improvise a section that they hadn’t rehearsed, Gus gave a nod to his bassist who was leading the band, and he then lead the rest of the band around the new sections of music.

He was wonderful at engaging with everyone in the audience and getting everyone to sing and clap along, and although I didn’t know the music, he taught us all a section of a chorus to sing along to, and it was awesome to be involved in that way.

15e Groots met een achte G was wederom fantastisch. De vorige keer dat ik er heen gind, was in 2010. Het blijft een enorm feest. Zeer goede gastoptredens van Miss Montreal, Kenny B, Di-rect en Chef's Special.
