German rock is always super exciting to watch live, from the quality and precision of their musical capabilities, to the dedication that they put into every performance, it’s always a great show. Element of Crime are even more exciting, with their pop rock twist to the genre, and the use of eclectic instruments such as the trumpet to fill out their sound.
The lights went down and the feedback of Sven Regener’s guitar echoed over the arena as the band came out and took their places on stage before launching into an epic instrumental section of music that I’d never heard before. The blend of the trumpet, guitar, accordion, and piano made the most incredible alternative rock sound, and the crowd were having a great time singing and dancing along to the unknown track.
They played a great variation of songs, from their 80s albums such as Try To Be Mensch, right up to this years album, Leiblingsfarben Und Tiere, which was incredible to hear live as it’s so new! They kept shouting out to the crowd getting us to join in, and everyone was having a great time joining in with the epic show.
