Born in Miami, Florida on 21 September 1989, Derulo started his music career first writing music. He was able to write music for some of hip-hop’s largest starts like Lil Wayne, Diddy, Danity Kane, and Sean Kingston. By 2006 Derulo was able to sign his own solo record with Beluga Heights Records and Warner Bros. Records.
By August 2009 he released his first single, “Watchu Say” which hit number 1 on the charts a mere three months after its first release. Early the following year, he released hid first album, “Jason Derülo,” debuting within the top 10 in the UK. For the rest of the year he spent touring as the opening act for Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball tour.
By 2012 Derulo gained a lot of popularity, but an accident during one of his rehearsals for his Future History Tour resulted in a vertebra break; consequently, the rest of the tour dates had to be cancelled. The upside was that it gave him time to work on his new album “Tattoos,” which he released in 2013. Six months after the release, the album was reworked and re-titled as “Talk Dirty.” The re-release of his album also included a world headlining tour through-out 2014.
Sitting on the beach gives me the chance to take in some breathtaking sights like a clear blue sky, crashing waves and Jason Derulo's abs!
That's right. Jason Derulo performed some of his best songs live at the beach for the T4 concert. Thousands of fans loaded the beach to crowd around and see Jason Derulo dance and sing. Set in the background of the carnival pier, concertgoers were already in a great mood and ready to party. Giant beach balls bounced from fan to fan as everyone got sweaty along with Jason Derulo and his dance music.
It seemed impossible to stop bouncing to the beat as he continued to rock the stage with heart-thumping music and sexy lyrics. Even in the middle of the day, the lighting for the concert was impressive. Bright, colored lights twirled around keeping beat to the music as if the entire stage was a visual equalizer. A team of dancers joined him on stage which included a long catwalk into the crowd.
A true performer, Jason Derulo seemed tireless as he turned it up a notch with him and his dancers coming down the catwalk to smoke blowing out of the stage and fireworks. He was ready to show the entire crowd a great time and by all means he did not disappoint.
