Pour les fans de Rock.

I am a huge fan of all of the albums and EPs that Thirsty Merc have released, and I was incredibly excited to hear them live. They opened with their rock/pop track Tommy and Krista, and immediately got the audience clapping and singing along. Rai Thistlewayte was clapping his hands behind the keyboard before launching into the beautiful lyrics of the song.
I wasn’t sure how they were going to chose a set list, as all three of their albums are incredible, but they ended up playing a really varied set from every album, which was great. They picked all of the popular tracks, and everyone there seemed to be long time fans, as we were all singing along from start to finish. The entire band were great at working together, and bounced their energy off of each other, and Phil, Karl, and Matt performed some incredible instrumental solos, whilst Rai belted out some incredibly challenging notes on vocals.
The show was almost two hours long, and they maintained their high energy throughout which I thought was pretty impressive! The show was a lot of fun, and a real demonstration of genuine talent.
