Having begun producing music at the young age of 17, Mimosa has quickly become a popular name on the West Coast, sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in electronic music. Mimosa has played alongside dubstep pioneers, Benga and Skream, as well as the hugely influential Flying Lotus and Glitch Mob.
Mimosa has played shows all across the US, including a headline tour in 2013, with several sold out shows such as in Denver, US and Boston, US. As well as national tours, Mimosa has also appeared at some of the biggest festivals in the country, including Coachella, Burning Man, Decibel Festival and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Throughout his career, he has become known for his relentless performing and continuous energy to play a good show.
Alongside several EPs, Mimosa released his debut full length, “Sanctuary” in 2011. Having started his own label, False Idol Musik, he has released his music on this imprint. His production talents have seem him being in high demand, collaborating with Marine Parade’s Panty Raid have turned heads in the UK, receiving airplay on Mary Anne Hobbs’ BBC Radio 1 show. Following his 2014 release of “Equilibrium,” Mimosa embarked on a headline tour across the US, moving his music towards more experimental avenues.

If you’re off to take in one of MiMosa’s sets prepare yourself for a musical journey. It promises to be a genre bending journey through sounds and genres. MiMosa is renowned for his ability to move naturally between dubstep, EDM, glitch and Hip Hop. So the thrill of the show is that you don’t know what’s coming next around the corner to wrap itself around your ear holes. He’s already shared a stage with illustrious peers like Benga, Skream, Bassnectar and Flying Lotus and honed his craft at festivals like Coachella, Tomorrow World, Burning Man and Decibel Festival. He’s also toured with MartyParty and Two Fresh – and what a party that is. It means he’s as comfortable in a small intimate club as big fields. His set at Tomorrow World in 2013 was another world of blinding lights and glitchy thrills. The name of the game is energy. His show is a mesmerising, full of throbbing bas lines and mind melding thumps. His mixtape from “Flux For Life” & “Hostilis” through to Future Trillhave shown a knack from bringing loads of elements together to produce something special, including newer trap and hip-hop influences. And on tracks like Beast and Rollin Up a HUGE bassline. It means if you have got that ticket to see him you’re going to have fun. Fierce fun. And your insides will be throbbing from the bass lines.
