Timmy Trumpet

When you picture an artist with the name Timmy Trumpet, your first thought probably isn’t of a House musician but then there isn’t really anything conventional about the way this Australian musician handles himself. Born Tim Smith, Timmy Trumpet got his big break by performing trumpet solos over dance tracks, eventually segueing into making his own productions – It’s a long way from the 9 year old Jazz player he started out as.

Crowds may be surprised at first when they see a guy wielding a trumpet at the helm of a House set but he’ll always win them over. With surprising passion, Timmy takes to the front of stage to deliver piercing trumpet tones over the percussive bounce of the House. It’s a heavy contrast but the interplay between trumpet and track really works and helps to make for an exciting set. To those that complain that there isn’t enough musicianship displayed in live electronic music, Timmy Trumpet is the man for you. In fact if anyone wants to see a completely unique house artist they should check him out because there’s no one like Timmy Trumpet.

Seen Timmy Trumpet a few times over the past year: prior to tonight, most recent was 2019's Kinetic Field appearance (was also supposed to see at Vegas's Marquee club, but line-management was such a shit-show that decided could afford to just forfeit the $80 we'd spent on tix). At any rate, each time we've seen him, he's seemed to be adding more in the way of hardstyle elements to his act - last night even more than EDC's show. It's a great trend ...especially since hardstyle is damned hard to come by this side of the Mississippi. Great, high-energy show: fitbit says I spent a *LOT* of energy. Only down side to the evening was that Timmy's merch selection was triflingly-small. I'll have to go online and rectify that.

Well since I heard Timmy Trumpet was coming to LA a few more baths back. I got the ticket early.
To be honest in my opinion the show it was unbelievable. I always love the energy that Timmy Trumpet brings. I mean there’s nothing to improve other than more visuals on the screen. But still I love the show

Have no idea who the support acts were up the stairs before Timmy came on but they were awfa good. Timmy's set was unreal but the crowd ruined it. Was full of spice boys and folk oot there bin but all round good night. Timmy Trumpet is underrated!

We had a great night with Timmy in the 02. Drinks are well overpriced but to be expected. Overall would rate this place 8 out of 10. Timmy 12 out of 10 OVBIOUSLY...He never fails to deliver an AMAZING performance. Hurry back Mr Trumpet.

Love Timmy Trumpet! Puts on such an amazing show every time. So much energy! He never disappoints. Had a table right next to the DJ booth so extra loud and extra close! It was a great night!

Awsome show. Great energy. The venue, was ok, nice outdoor area. THE crowd was a little young for me. Would love to see him at a 21UP places only. Timmy trumpet you rule!!!!

i saw timmy trumpet on friday night in melbourne he was amazing i didn't want it to end! im buying tickets to future just to see him again cant wait love him!!
