Magnifique concert à Bruz, le 1er février. Quelle chance pour votre public ! Réel mariage d'amour entre jazz le plus authentique, depuis les roots de John Henry, en passant par Bessie Smith, et chanson poétique en français, admirablement rendue comme autant de lieder romantiques. Cécile McLorin Salvant, vous êtes est une véritable magicienne, si jeune et déjà si extraordinairement capable de nous faire visiter en profondeur toutes les diverses atmosphères successives ; avec une inventivité et un talent souvent à couper le souffle, le trio d'Aaron Diehl participe pleinement de cette magie. Merci à vous quatre :)

I had the pleasure of seeing this incredible woman in concert at the 2019 Chicago Jazz Fest where she headlined the show. I was blown away. I couldn't believe I had never heard of her before. I left in awe of her voice, her styling and phrasing and her connection with the audience. In the end, she'll be up there with Nancy, Ella, Sarah and Billie. I can't wait to see here here in Chicago again on Friday, June 3. VERY EXCITED !!!

I've been to every McLorin-Salvant concert in NYC, save 2. I've seen her grow her amazing talents, now to the point that I believe she is already in the top 5 female jazz vocalists of all time. Her interpretive skill is beyond compare and her voice is a polished instrument. Bravo.

Her voice is amazing but what is breathtaking is her confidence, her creativity and her brilliance as an interpreter.

She truly is the heir of the jazz vocal luminaries: Billy Holiday to Sarah Vaughan to Betty Carter and now Cecile McLorin Salvant

very nice concert indeed, this singer is absolutly fabulous by her power and sensibility, we were very pleased to be there. the place and festival were great too, even my three year old daughter wanted to dance!

What a range of voice she has! Very expressive, both in interpretations and her own work! Her musicians formed a tight knit group,each very different but came together beautifully and playfully.
