All Hail the Mighty Michael Schenker ! Over 2.5+ hours of the band playing songs covering four decades of Michael’s career. And don’t forget about the new album “Resurrection” that was just released that features the greatest singers of Michael’s career ( Bonnet, Bardin, McAuley and Doug White). Making an album featuring all these great singers is one thing.....but to have all 4 of them on the road for the tour was a great thing to experience. Schenker knocked it out of the park at the Agora playing killer instrumentals “Captain Nemo” and “Into the Arena” as well as great tunes from UFO ( Shoot Shoot, Rock Bottom etc etc). But the real treat was how the set list featured the past and the current album. I personally enjoyed hearing Gary Barden on “ Armed and Ready”, Bonnet on “Desert Song” and McAuley on “Anytime” and then hearing them altogether on the new tune”Warrior.” There are too many highlights to list. Simply put Schenker destroyed the Agora with his fantastic musicianship. People can talk about EVH, Rhoads,Satriani and Vai and justifiably so. Michael Schenker deserves to be right with them.
This was my 5th time seeing Schenker, he is an impressive person, a guitar god, a true great guitarist that in my opinion only is beat out by Eddie Van Halen, he is basically the EU version of Eddie Van Halen..
He played a lot of MSG songs, a lot you normally do not hear live, did 1-2 Scorpions songs and closed the show with 5-7 UFO songs.
The show was impressive with all the lead singers, from Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet, Robin McAuley (My Favorite), and Doggie White.
The backing band, well I have seen him touring with his Temple of Rock band and I have to say the Temple of Rock musicians are better musicians, these original guys were a little long in the tooth, and were not in top notch, but were adequate to provide a rocking show.
Wayne Findlay was missed, Rev Jones or Francis Bucholz on bass would have been better for the band, and having Herman Rarebell on Drums would have kicked ass.
Overall, Schenker pulled off a masterful show, looks healthy and happy, I would definitely return to see him again.
We want to thank all our patrons for coming out to Michael Schenker's Temple of Rock Tour at 210 Kapones, last night April 11th.

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TOO THE SHOW SO MUCH.I WAS WAITING FOR ANOTHER PIECE OF MEAT,LOVEDRIVE,LOVE TO LOVE AND AFTER HOURS OF SOME HITS AND TOO MUCH NEW STUFF IT WAS CLEAR MY EXPECTATIONS WERE NOT TO BE.WHAT THE WAS GOING ON WITH THE 4 SINGERS AT THE END WITH LIGHTS OUT? WHAT A DISASTER!
Saw him back in the 80's at San Diego Charger Stadium (Jack Murphys) with BOC, Pat Travers, Cheap Trip what a concert. I was 15 years old.
He has since been my favorite guitarist ever. Had a poster of him in my room where he was hanging the flying V over the crowd.
Incredible!!! Played several of the classic UFO and MSG tunes and some Scorpions too. Even at 60 Fkn yrs old, the Mad German has NOT lost a step!!! NEVER miss him when he comes to town . . .
Show was good, but sound was not!
This first time in Cleveland Agora I didn’t enjoyed the sound. This probably because we set in the balcony.
I hope in future sound will improve
