Born to Dominican parents, Rojas love for music was apparent from a young age as he took part in choirs and talent competitions. Turning his hand to writing poetry aged thirteen blossomed into the start of his song writing capabilities. With a few duo projects underway in his mid-teens, Rojas largely focussed on producing raggaeton material. However noticing the steady decline in the reggaeton genre, he made a conscious decision to experiment with the bachata genre, native to the Dominican Republic.
Signed to the label Top Stop, Prince Royce released his debut self-titled album in 2010 to great acclaim, topping the US Latin charts as it went double platinum. The album fused bachata, R&B and pop with an urban edge. The first single off the album was a cover of Ben E. King’s classic hit “Stand by Me” which also stormed the top of the US Tropical charts. The album earned Rojas a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Tropical Album. In 2011 he cleaned up at the Billboard Latin Music Awards taking home Tropical Airplay Solo Artist of the Year, Tropical Album of the Year and Tropical Albums Solo Artist of the Year.
In 2012 his second album “Phase II” was released with tracks in both English and Spanish delving into a range of genres including bachata and mariachi. The album went platinum and topped the US Latin chart, Prince Royce’s popularity only growing with every release. With the partnership with Top Stop dissolving, Rojas signed a record deal with Sony Music Latin in 2013 with whom he released his third album “Soy el Mismo” proving another chart success.
With an abundance of charisma and an endless supply of screaming teenage girls under Prince Royce’s spell ensures hysteria and sold out shows nationwide. Supporting the likes of Latin legends Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull has seen Rojas grow evermore in stature with breath-taking arena performances guaranteed to win your heart.

I was lucky enough to be traveling in Nicaragua about a year ago and was in Granada when I saw a flyer that Prince Royce was playing in Managua the next evening!
Well considering the passion for that genre on music in Nicaragua, I knew this show would be insane! I got a few other people staying in the hostel to agree to come and the next day we made the trip to Managua! We arrived at the Stadium, and the Nica party was full on! Beer and Rum everywhere you looked, music blaring, and this was just the parking lot!
Once we made it inside, the Nica crowd was just fantastic! They are already such a friendly fun and happy people, and then to see them at a concert like this, well the energy was palpable!
Prince Royce came out on stage and the place literally exploded! After his first song, I was already so in the groove and dancing my heart out! I think I danced with everyone around me many times over! His presence on stage was fantastic and he is such a performer!
He could just smile at the crowd and they would go nuts! I was most impressed with just how well he sounded live! They were solid and the show was one of the better shows I've ever seen! I think the combination of being in Nicaragua and this genre of music together just made it such a special experience!!!
Geoffrey Royce Rojas better known by his stage name Prince Royce is an American singer/songwriter with an affinity of Latin pop. His Dominican heritage is said to have influenced his early music tastes and these were very evident on his self titled debut album released in 2010.
He gained instant success on the US Latin charts and his reputation soon gained equal momentum. The upbeat music is often overshadowed by the jovial nature in which Royce performs his live show. An entertainer through and through, he builds an instant rapport with his crowds and delights them with renditions of favourites including 'Corazón Sin Cara'.
The singer has a great relationship with his touring musicians as he jams with them during the tropical stylings of 'Yo the amé' whilst his backing singers harmonise fantastically during 'Mi última carta'. It is an encore of 'Stand By Me' and 'Darte un beso' that brings a touch of carnival to proceedings and turns the crowd into one jumping, dancing unit as Prince takes his final bows with a beaming grin.

I first discovered Prince Royce due to a little collaboration of his. It was no big deal really, just with a few small artists you may have heard of… someone called Pitbull? And someone else called Jennifer Lopez?
Prince Royce, real name Geoffrey Royce Rojas, is a Latin R&B artist who is as cool and talented as he is handsome. Something of a heartthrob in his native US, Prince Royce has enjoyed incredible success in the mainstream music scene in both the USA and in Latin America. And ladies, he’s coming to the UK. An established songwriter and musician. Prince Royce is incredibly talented. His vocals are beautiful, particularly when he sings in Spanish. There can be no resisting him. In terms of live performances, Prince Royce has no trouble working up a crowd into a frenzy and getting everybody off their feet, dancing, singing and clapping along with great gusto. He has it all, apart from a big standing in the UK. Yet. I would definitely recommend watching him live, you don’t even need to understand Spanish to enjoy his sound.

It was amazing! Even though, he took an hour to start the show and it only lasted an hour. He had a jacket on and said that he was hot, so he took it off. Then he took his muscle shirt off, man, he was sexy.. And he threw roses at us, but Sadly I was in the back so didn't catch one :( He sang amazing. And he asked for a brave, single girl to go up. This one girl went up. He sang to her, kissed her on the cheek, kissed her hand, and hugged her. Then he gave her a rose. That lucky girl. I recommend that you guys get a front row ticket (I know they're expensive) but you get a better experience, and he sings to you, touches your hand <3, and he notices you.

The show was amazing! I love Prince Royce and he put on a great show and I was dancing and loving every moment...especially when he took his shirt off :D. I really enjoyed the venue as well and the weather was just right for it. I felt so close to him and was able to have an awesome view due to our seat in the venue. Definitely want to go see him again in concert.

Prince royce is an amazing person he's chill and loves his fans. I went this sunday and saw him close up and when he sang one of my favorite songs of him. He look at me and smiled and winked. I kove him and anytime he comes to Orlando i will be there. Thank you for hearing me out. I love him.

I really liked it even tho he took his shirt off and it was awkward cuz I'm a boy anyways it was amazing and awesome you should open up for almost every Ariana grande show BTW Ariana she tripped on stage

He's simply perfect at performing. Although he only did two of his Spanish songs, I understand he's doing the genre crossover, and he killed it. So charming. So handsome. My heart aches... #fangirl

Amazing show with great views, great atmosphere but best of all great artist's. The show was very lively and artist's where very involved with the crowd. My wife and I enjoyed it greatly
