Their energetic brand of electronic music travels across many genres, from drum & bass, dubstep, breakbeat and grime.
Meeting at Manchester University in 2003, the duo honed their production skills before achieving moderate success with their remix of Capleton's track "Duppy Man" in 2005. Signing to Andy C's Ram Records imprint, they released "Hurt You" and "Take Me Away" which reached the top of the UK Dance Charts.
Their first full length, "More Than Alot" in 2009 was well received, with their single "Pieces" ft. Plan B becoming a huge hit, along with "Against All Odds" ft. Kano favouring well in the UK Dance Chart.
Their 2010 album "No More Idols" was to be the album that brought them mainstream chart success, debuting at number two on the UK Albums Chart and certified Gold in the first week of sales. The album featured collaborations with Plan B, TInie Tempah, Tempa T and soul singer Liam Bailey.
With 2012's "Brand New Machine," Chase & Status moved towards a darker sound, achieving crossover success, eventually being selected to headline Download Festival in 2012, a festival predominantly favouring rook and metal acts. Chase & Status became huge favorites on the UK festival circuit, drawing the second biggest crowd, apart from headliners The Prodigy, at 2014's Global Gathering Festival.
Having begun their own record label, MTA Records, the pair are committed to delivering music that is in their eyes, 'exceptional,' releasing records from acts such as Nero, Ben Pearce and 16bit, becoming pivotal in providing a platform for Nero's success.

Influential electronic music producers Chase & Status have helped defined the drum and bass genre, and their iconic sound is no more apparent than in their live performances. Their prolific career brings to life the fast beatbreaks and heavy bass characteristic of the genre. Having participated in events as big as Reading Festival, T in the Park, and Glastonbury, as well as performing in venues all across the UK and Europe, Chase and Status are able to recreate the raving experience in any venue, using their heavy bass and high tempos, mixed with widely varied vocalizations from guest collaborators, to entrance the crowd. Regularly taking the stage with MC Rage and Andy Gangadeen, the energy displayed in their live shows is palpable. Hits like No Problem and Let You Go almost always find their way onto a set list, and the crowd never fails shows its gratitude, continuously raging throughout the entire live gig. Three studio albums and high-profile collaborations with the likes of Plan B, Major Lazer, Tinie Tempah and Cee Lo Green– some of which have made guest appearances during live gigs– make their live efforts even more mesmerizing. It comes as no surprise that they’re currently touring the European festival circuit.
Saul Milton and Will Kennard are better known by their stage name of Chase & Status. The electro duo has gone on to achieve global domination since their formation in 2003. One of Britain's most acclaimed exports to the dance market, they have performed on some of the largest and most acclaimed stages on the circuit and have crafted a live show that is of equal stature.
With only three studio albums in their discography the duo are a great example of quality over quantity. Often accompanied by a barrage of hype men and performers, the pair confidently take to their decks and the stage explodes in a barrage of light and sound. The thousand strong crowd gathered roar in approval and begin to dance to the pulsating beats of 'No Problem'.
A whole host of famous collaborators join the show tonight, Tempa T is on hand to whip the crowd into frenzy for 'Hypest Hype' and despite no Plan B, the crowd still cheer wildly for 'End Credits'. It is the appearance of Liam Bailey for 'Blind Faith' though which really climaxes the whole set and cements the reputation of Chase & Status as icons of dance.
I love Chase & Status and I have seen them 3 times before and every time before they were amazing!!
But this was a terrible gig and it wasn't even Chase & Status?!
It was only Status! Chase wasn't there??
Status didn't play a lot of there best songs? And it was mostly songs I never heard of before...
