i LOVE jOHN pAUL WHITE---BUT WAS REALLY DISHEARTENED BY THE MATERIAL HE CHOSE TO PLAY. I BROUGHT FRIENDS TO INTRODUCE THEM TO HIS GREAT SONG WRITING AND IT WAS TOO DARK FOR EVEN ME.....AND MY FRIENDS WERE REALLY DISAPOINTED---WE CAME TO SEE JOHN PAUL---NOT MARY CHAPIN CARPENDER------SO IT WAS A BUMMER OF AN EVENING MUSICALLY. SORRY JOHN PAUL----I HAVE TO SPEAK THE TRUTH........YOU DIDN'T EVEN DO YOUR NEWEST HIT!! SO SAD!! WISH MAY C.C. HAD CALLED YOU UP TO SING WITH HER.......BUT I AM NOT INTO HER....SO HER LOSS.......WILL SEE YOU AGAIN--I HOPE J.P.---MAYBE IT WAS AN OFF NIGHT--THOUGH YOUR VOCALS WERE SPOT ON!!!!

What a wonderful show. I have never been to a concert so laid back and personal. John Paul is so down to earth and relatable. Each one of the songs he chose was an absolute privilege to hear, and I left humming them all evening. The venue was so, “southern,” and, “down home.” I loved every minute of it. I bought his album after the show and he came out to sign them for the guests. I thought the simplicity of the entire event was the way music was meant to be shared - to those who truly want to just sit back and appreciate the gift that was given to an artist.

John Paul White's performance was an amazing mix of song writing and musicianship. He has a natural ability to communicate with the crowd. The crowd seemed very enthusiastic and grateful to be seeing such a great performance. John Paul White also expressed his gratitude to the crowd for making him feel welcome. I felt very fortunate to have been able to experience the show as well. The staff at The Turf Club were very polite and curtious towards the show goers.

John Paul White have an incredibly intimate concert at Club Passim. It was a generously long set interspersed with his self deprecating humor. His voice is gorgeous and easily filled the room. Didn’t miss the backing band - loved hearing him sing with only an acoustic guitar as accompaniment.

JPW was amazing. His songs reach people on another level. He is so down to earth and always takes time to talk to me and my family after his shows. It is obvious that the John and the band love music more than money. I would highly recommend seeing them especially to acoustic musicians.

Well...great show, with an all star cast but No John Paul White. What we did get was: Jamey Johnson, Buddy Miller, Jim Lauderdale, Angelina Presley, Nikki lane, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Frankie Ballard and Gary Nicholson.

Awesome show. He is great live. Great music, he interacts with the audience, stayed after the show to say hello and take pictures and sign autographs. Good location too
