I'm writing this review not to attack, but because I really love the vibe she creates in her music. She sings incredibly well, and she knows it. This means her music focuses on her voice with a light, embracing, soft sound in the background... It's excellent music for relaxing, if you get what I mean. So, at her last concert I attended, she had a drummer with her. The guy was AMAZING, seriously. But it completely disrupted the atmosphere of her songs, which are known for their light beats and bass emphasis. I understand that live performances often need a revamp, but it felt like it lost its identity. To top it off, I felt the sound in the venue wasn’t well-balanced, and since the drummer was pretty heavy-handed, I guess the sound technician didn’t have much choice. The samples and backtracks were barely audible, and the drums were so overpowering that it negatively affected the experience.

Beautiful show !!! One woman band show using her voice to loop sounds. Very cool ! Second time seeing her live and loved her show. She sweetly threw long stem roses into the audience after her last song to celebrate Valentine’s Day. I was lucky enough to catch one ! She comes from wonderful music stock and is coming into her own as an incredible artist. I look forward to more shows and music.
