Biografia
The band — consisting of Mitchel Cave on lead vocals and bass guitar, Chritian Anthony on lead vocals, rhythm guitar, and programming, and Clinton Cave on backing vocals, production, lead guitar, tenor sax, and programming — is now seven EPs and three albums into its career with no signs of slowing down.
Chase Atlantic formed in 2014, but the band didn’t start there. Both Christian and Mitchel were previously in a boy band called What About Tonight, formed to audition for The X Factor Australia’s fourth season. The pair were eliminated in the second week and came in eleventh place. It was hardly a promising start.
However, Michel’s older brother, Clinton, had developed his own successful YouTube channel and frequently released popular covers with Mitchel. In 2013, the two brothers and Christian began performing as an act named K.I.D.S. (Kind Imaginations, Destructive Situations). The group released an original called “Addicted,” but later deleted it from the channel.
Chase Atlantic formed when Clinton asked the other two to help him record a project for university. Dalliance, the new band’s first EP, dropped on May 26, 2014 and was a mix between pop punk and pop rock. It released another EP in February of the following year. Called Nostalgia, the EP included the song “Friends,” which soon appeared in several edits on the website Tumblr. Later that year, Benji and Joel Madden took notice of the band, and signed the boys to MDDN Management.
2016 was a year of big change for the band. It started off with a bang with the release of the single “Obsessive,” followed by a third EP called Paradise. Chase Atlantic then toured Australia, playing the EP in full. A year later came its fourth EP, Part One, which was released by none other than Warner Bros. Records. March 2017 saw the release of Part Two, and several months later the group announced its first-ever tour of the U.S. opening for Sleeping with Sirens. Part Three came out in September 2017.
By this time fans and band alike agreed on one thing: it was time for a full-length album. That came just a month after Part Three. Chase Atlantic’s self-titled debut album sent the group on the road again with another 16-show U.S. tour and an Australian tour as a support act for Blackbear. The boys came back to the U.S. the following year, playing Bonnaroo, Vans Warped Tour, and heading to the UK for the Reading/Leeds Festival.
In the middle of 2018, Chase Atlantic shocked everyone by parting ways with Warner Bros. Records and going fully independent. It spent early 2019 in L.A., working on pouring its dark alternative pop style into a new full-length. That album, Phases, came out in June and proved that this band needed no major label’s help to put out game-changing music.
2020 saw the band beginning to work on BEAUTY IN DEATH, its third studio album. This colossal release dropped on March 5, 2021, preceded by singles “OUT THE ROOF,” “MOLLY,” “SLIDE,” and “EMPTY.” After amassing 350 million domestic streams and garnering acclaim from every corner of the music industry, the album’s release proved yet again that Chase Atlantic is a band to watch.
Though COVID-19 put a damper on touring for everyone, Chase Atlantic is back at it with a slew of dates in 2022 and 2023. There’s never been a better time to catch this group live.

I’ seen them in Berlin on 13/05/18. They played as opening band for Sleeping With Sirens. Actually, it was amazing! Voice and sound that you could hear from recordings of their songs, the same voice and sound you’ll hear live. They put themselves on 100% on stage. It was so emotional! Btw, guys are very friendly and funny, so don’t be afraid to come to them and have chat with them! Also, they are really care if you enjoyed the show if you meet them after all. I came from Russia just to see them and I didn’t and still don’t regret any second or money that I spent to come to Berlin. XO
Nothing but love for these boys. It was an incredible experience and I loved every second of it. 10/10 will see again. Every damn time they tour, you can expect me to be there. I think I would enjoy an 18+ show moreso however, only due to the second barricade I was stuck behind, but I understand why security was so insistent on that, and I respect their judgement. I'd just like to be a little closer to the action next time. But there WILL be a next time. Big, big love. Thanks boys, come back soon.
Bro watching these boys in London was sick you don’t understand it was a complete vibe even my dad enjoyed it what made it so much better was the friendship they had with bexey (support act ) and all the team helping them you could feel there love and all that sappy stuff from the back of the room
