I went to see Amel Bent in Lille in France recently at one of her concerts and had such a good night. She is an extremely talented young girl, singing from the heart throughout her performance. Amel gained fame after making it to the semi finals of the French version of the hit show Pop Idol. And she has only made it bigger and better since leaving the show.
Her musical style covers the genres of R&B, soul and pop and therefore attracts a diverse audience. There is something for everyone with her and she won't disappoint you. Her voice is soulful and deep, making for a great R&B singer. Do not let the language barrier put you off either, if you are not a native speaker, anyone will be able to grasp the message she tried to drive through her songs whether you can understand the language o not.
Amel Bent is highly likeable, her charm takes the audience and makes them giddy with love for her. Take a chance, take a trip to France and witness the magic that is Amel Bent.
