Proud Canadian countryman Corb Lund has been just about as successful as you can be as a country artist. Formally a member of independently successful band ‘The Smalls’, Corb has gone on to have a fruitful solo career landing himself a number one album and picking up numerous awards and nominations along the way. It’s fair to say that Corb Lund is a pretty popular guy and that likable quality definitely extends to his live set.
With his trusty backing band ‘The Hurtin’ Albertans’ in tow, Corb always puts on a tight and professional show. He darts through numbers with a refined energy, swinging all the blues numbers and rocking steady through others. His voice is strong, ringing with a raw clarity and charisma that sounds unmistakably Dylan-esque, with this comparison continuing into his playful but powerful lyricism.
