Amy LaVere is an acclaimed Memphis based artist, writer, bass player and troubadour. The dark and charming writer has released seven critically acclaimed solo recordings and has another on the way. She has been awarded Four Stars in Mojo Magazine, critical acclaim from NPR’s Robert Siegel, rave reviews from No Depression, American Songwriter Magazine and more. LaVere’s storytelling and songwriting is barbed and sharp, a cutting contrast to her sweet soprano vocals and smooth, percussive upright bass playing.
She has collaborated on recordings with many other artists across the Americana landscape.
