The James Taylor Quartet

Not the James Taylor I was expecting. This was a free lunchtime session at the Royal Festival Hall, where Jame graced the stage on his own with a grand piano and played some excellent classical music.

After having watched JTQ for 30 years playing the very best Acid Jazz Funk, you can imagine this was not what I was expecting. Jame's masterful playing of these classical pieces was excellent, but alas not by gendre of music.

Looking forward to seeing JTQ of old back at Ronnie Scotts this Thursday.
